Pricing

Honest pricing, on the page.

Two honest layers: physical products you buy once from TapTag, and software priced by managed Actions — the remotely configurable identities you run. No per-scan or per-tap fee, ever.

What counts as a managed Action?

One managed Action is one remotely configurable identity. The QR code, ordinary NFC tag, and Action Link for the same Action count once — print a hundred copies and it is still one. When Wallet passes launch, each issued credential will count once, and its Apple and Google copies will never double-count. Templates and drafts never count, and genuine human scans, taps, and pass displays never carry a fee — there is no per-scan or per-tap charge on any plan.

The platform side

Simply360 pricing is already public.

Simply Action Tags works on its own — no Simply360 subscription required — and connects to Simply360 when you want taps writing to your records, Wizards, and automations. Paid platform plans include 100 managed Actions, credited against larger Action Tags plans so the two never stack.

Honest answers

The questions people actually ask.

If something here is unclear, ask us and we will answer in plain language.

What does a scan cost?

There is no per-scan or per-tap fee

You buy the hardware once and pay for managed Actions, not interactions. A tag tapped ten thousand times costs the same as one tapped twice — automated bot and abuse traffic is rate-limited, never billed to you.

Do we need Simply360?

No — it works standalone

Dynamic URL actions, QR and NFC management, Action Links, analytics, and custom domains work on their own. Connecting Actions to records, forms, and automations is what a paid Simply360 or Simply app plan unlocks — and upgrading later keeps every URL, QR file, and analytics history in place.

Can we use tags we already own?

Yes — bring your own tags

Existing NFC tags and printed QR codes can point at your actions — they share one managed Action, not two. Cryptographic tap verification needs the right chip (NTAG 424 DNA) — ask for it on TapTag custom orders, or bring tags that already carry it.
