Tap. Scan. Done.

One tap becomes a trusted action.

Simply Action Tags are physical NFC tags, QR codes, and Action Links that launch the right form, check-in, or link the moment someone taps — verified, logged, and connected to your real records. No app, no login, no typing a URL off a poster. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are coming soon.

Why teams tag the real world

The gap between your building and your database.

Check-ins live on clipboards, feedback links live on posters nobody types in, and “who actually showed up?” gets answered from memory. An Action Tag closes the gap: stick the action where the people are, and every tap lands in the system as a real, verified record.

The clipboard had a good run. Forty years, give or take.

Actions

Launch a form, or send to any link

Point a tag at one of your workflows — check-in, waiver, feedback, registration — or at any URL with campaign tracking attached. Change the destination anytime without touching the hardware.

Secure NFC

Cryptographically verified taps

Secure tags use NTAG 424 DNA chips: every tap carries a one-time cryptographic code the platform verifies before acting. A copied or replayed URL simply does not work.

Fresh scans

A tap is not a bookmark

Fresh-scan windows expire each scan within seconds. Nobody checks in from the parking lot with a screenshot, and yesterday’s link cannot claim today’s attendance.

Per-record tags

A tag for every badge, seat, or asset

Bulk-generate one tag per attendee, member, or piece of equipment. Each tap opens the action already pointed at the right record — no lookup step, no wrong-person mistakes.

Wallet passes

Coming soon: credentials people actually carry

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are on the way: a pass that presents at the door like a boarding pass, updates itself when things change, and can be revoked the moment it should stop working. Printed credentials with the same policy engine work today.

Scan logs

Every tap, accounted for

Time, location, device, and outcome for every scan — successes, expired scans, and blocked replays alike. Attendance questions become a report, not an argument.

Before and after

The door check-in becomes an audit trail.

The clipboard had a good run. Forty years, give or take.

Before

  • Clipboard at the entrance
  • Someone types the list later
  • Nobody knows which scans failed

After

  • A tap opens the exact action
  • Fresh scans are verified before they run
  • Every attempt lands in the log

How it fits together

From “stick it on the door” to a live audit trail.

Action Tags are managed in Simply360 like everything else you run: create the tag, point it at an action, and the physical world starts writing to your database.

Create

Choose the action

Point the tag at a form, check-in flow, or tracked link.

Place

Put it where people act

Cards, stickers, signs, keychains, or passes meet people in the physical moment.

Tap

The scan is verified

Secure NFC and fresh-scan rules decide whether the action is allowed.

Act

The right flow opens

Visitors use the browser they already have; staff keep the line moving.

Log

The record remembers

Successful, expired, disabled, and blocked attempts remain visible.

The storefront

Buy the hardware direct from the maker. Bring the actions from here.

Cards, stickers, signs, keychains, and wristbands with NFC inside — bought directly from TapTag, the specialists who print and program them, and pointed at your Simply360 actions.

Coming soon — Wallet passes

The next Action Tag is the one already in their pocket.

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are coming to Simply Action Tags. A pass will be a tag that travels with the person: presented at the door, verified in one scan, updated remotely, and revoked the instant it should stop working. Here is what launch will look like — and what works today.

A Saturday check-in table

The physical moment stays connected to the system.

An example workflow for a real-world check-in moment. Hardware imagery stays pending until real samples or approved renders are available.

Setup

The tag knows the action

Staff place a tag at the door and point it at the check-in flow.

Doors

Every tap is verified

Fresh scans run immediately; stale or replayed links are blocked.

After

The list is already real

Attendance and scan outcomes are records, not a sheet to type up later.

This is an example workflow, not customer proof — real Action Tags product imagery is owner-gated.

Start with a handful of tags and one workflow — most teams find the second use case within a week.
